Bio

Hi, I'm Erin.

I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a wife, a mama to three amazing children—two daughters and a son—and the heart behind Faithful Beginnings Doula. Motherhood has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, and it's also what sparked my passion for supporting other women as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

I know that welcoming a baby into the world is both beautiful and life-changing. It can also bring moments of uncertainty, excitement, joy, and vulnerability all at once. That's why I feel so called to walk alongside mothers and families during this special season—to offer encouragement, education, comfort, and a steady presence every step of the way.

As a trained doula, I've dedicated myself to learning how to best support families through evidence-based education, emotional support, and hands-on guidance. My education and training through Childbirth International have equipped me with the tools to serve families with confidence and compassion, while my faith reminds me that every birth story is unique and deeply meaningful.

At Faithful Beginnings Doula, I believe every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether you're preparing for your first baby or growing your family once again, my goal is to help you approach birth with confidence, peace, and the reassurance that you don't have to do it alone.

It is truly an honor to be invited into such a sacred chapter of your family's story, and I would love the opportunity to support you as you prepare to welcome your little one.

With faith, compassion, and care,
Erin Labella

People often ask why I became a doula, and the answer is deeply personal. 🤍
My journey through birth changed me forever. My first baby was born in a hospital birth that left me feeling unheard, disconnected, and carrying trauma I didn’t understand at the time. With my second, I experienced the empowering care of a birth center. And with my third, I brought my baby into the world peacefully in the comfort of my own home. Each experience taught me something different about birth, support, autonomy, and the power women hold within themselves.
Those experiences are what shaped my heart behind this work.
I became a doula because I am passionate about supporting women and families through one of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of their lives. Every family deserves a safe space where they feel seen, informed, respected, and empowered to make decisions rooted in education and trust — not fear.
A healthy baby matters deeply, but that should be the bare minimum. Mothers matter too. Their mental, emotional, and physical well-being matter. Birth is not something to simply survive. We should also be focused on protecting families from unnecessary trauma and interventions whenever possible, while honoring their choices and autonomy every step of the way.
This work is more than a business to me — it’s personal, sacred, and led by my whole heart. 🤍
